This mural was done at a doctor's house...Dr. Eckman and family, to be exact. I painted this in his sons' (Isaiah and Samuel) bedroom. This family are die hard St. Louis Cardinals fans, so the good doctor wanted the boys room to be something special. He had the carpet designed to look like the infield, while I painted the outfield on up to the stands and buildings behind the stadium. It's to the best scale I can get it, considering the detail that really is involved in painting this. I had to do the crowd in dots, due to the fact that painting over 50, 000 or more faces would take months to finish, but still, there are TONS of dots! It was a tideous, but fun task, and the outcome was great. I think the family liked it also. =)
One of the boys (Samuel) kept saying to me, everytime he saw the walls, "I wove my woom!" ...that was in 'Samuel' talk, lol. And it pleased me to see the smile and admiration on his face, so I consider this job complete!
